Rejuvenating this teaching pipe band from the 1990’s has been a great experience!
The communities of Almonte and Carleton Place, to name a few, are very excited to see us back in full force.
This is a fun Legion pipe band and it will remain that way. We continue to improve our music and grow with new interested musicians.
This band welcomes anyone without any age barrier, beginner or experienced – we pride ourselves in accepting anyone that is willing to learn and appreciate the music.
At this time during Covid, band practices are only virtual on Zoom, but hopefully, we will be able to meet at the Legion by the end of the year. Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Joining an established group of people, especially your first band practice can be a little intimidating whether you are an experienced or beginner piper or drummer. But being a fun band, we will make it easy and welcoming!
